Luck seemed to change in 1992 when an industrial unit was found. This location held ample space for the storage of costumes, props, furniture, sound and lighting equipment plus plenty of room for set building and was also used for rehearsals and various meetings. Unfortunatly, the rising costs to maintain such a space has forced the players to give up their home in order to put themselves in a better financial position to continue to produce quality productions.
Currently, the Season consists of three productions – October, February, May – for a total of 5 performances each. Complimentary sandwiches and a cash bar are presented with the Friday night performances and a full dinner with bar for the Saturday evening performances. Thursday evenings are show only.
All performances are presented at the Milton Seniors' Activity Centre, 500 Childs Drive (across the road from the Milton Mall, near the Police Station).
The Milton Players Theatre Group is a registered charitable corporation - #140643008RR0001; solely funded by revenues from performances and fund raising efforts. MPTG is governed by an elected Board of Directors. A member of Arts Milton, The Association of Community Theatres - Central Ontario , MPTG members participate in various Town events.
